The Project Begins:
Digitizing Nana's Handwritten Recipes

We have begun the long task of digitizing the treasure trove of Nana’s original handwritten recipes. It's a labor of love done in her honor. The first batch undertaken is in the chicken category — more will follow in the future.

Eight handwritten recipes from Nana’s recipe file correspond to chicken recipes on the website. A link to the original recipe has been added to the bottom of each of the eight recipes.

If you notice any differences in the ingredients or instructions of the handwritten recipes, we suggest you follow the updated recipe as it appears on the site.  Use the link on the home page to send us a note if you have any questions.

Many of the handwritten recipes are tattered and soiled — proving that they were often used and always loved:
